The extra coupons that I get from various sources go into this bag...
I store the like coupon inserts together in the box.
Then when it is time to cut out a coupon, I seach for the coupon insert. For example if I was looking for this Scopecoupon out of the 11/1 PG insert, then I would pull all of the copies of this coupon together. And, then I would cut out only this coupon out and then put the rest of the pages back into the insert. Then, I am done. That's it :) Pretty easy - and it saves money (and time) for me!
I've thought about trying this method, but for me, since I'm such a 'visual' person, I'm finding I like the box method. I cut out just about everything (gotta find some different method for that aspect) and then it goes into the box. Now if only I could find a bigger box...
ReplyDeleteSo you are storing pre-cut coupons in a box? Have you thought about using a baby wipes container?
ReplyDeleteOkay, so this is taking this a bit further than you were trying to, but do you have any ideas on how to get one's husband to use coupons? Specifically, where to put them so that he'll have easy access? My husband just went out last night and bought full-price pizza from Dominos and three movies. We have a TON of coupons for Dominos, and we have a coupon for Blockbuster for any movies for $1.99 for the entire month. I haven't done the math, but I'm sure he spent more than double what these things would have cost with the coupons. But he doesn't carry a purse, so that's not an option. An envelope in the glove box? Anyway, just wondered if you'd considered this or were already doing something. :-)
