How it started... and my goal.

The first year of our marriage, I made a bad business decision - which resulted in a lot of debt. Then we decided that I would go back to school. At the end of my program... we found out we were expecting our first child. Kind of put a damper on that education that I just financed.

In fact, 5 years after starting my masters - we are still very much still paying for it. I have been trying to find ways to cut our family expenses and have done so over the past 3 years, while parenting and working :) We have paid off the $20K from the business decision. I still have $30K of school debt.

My goal this year is to be able to pay off half of my school debt, and I am using this blogto share my tips and good deals with you. I will share my progress each month and hopefully this will be a tool to help keep my accountable.

Join me in my journey, make a goal for you and your family and let's become debt free together!
