Mystery Shopping...

So, this week - assuming we are not stuck in our houses due to snow - I am going on my first mystery shop. I have looked at several different companies, and this company is one that was recommended as a good company to work with. So, the basic gist of what we are doing... we get to go to a super yummy restaurant and order food (and we are required to order dessert... darn :) ) and then I have to evaluate their service... the form is somewhat lengthy, but that's alright. I love being able to go out to eat and to be able to pick a restaurant that I love and eat for free is a huge bonus to me!

Another aspect of saving money is to spend less on something than would be expected. (I like doing this a lot!)

Finally, there is a third way in my mind... if there is something that you want to buy - find creative ways to pay for it... i.e. me going to the Bengals game this Saturday. I am going to go - but I am not going to take the money out of my account or budget to do it.

Day #5

So, it stinks when you are trying to save money for a big goal and exciting things pop up... that of course cost money - what's the deal with that anyways?

Bengals... in the playoffs. I could go with my friend & we would have an awesome time. I went with her to the last playoff game a few years ago and it was so much better than a regular game! But, of course it costs money...

Gymnastics for Kaleigha... we have had her in classes taking Gymnastics and we both really enjoy the class. Well, it's time for enrollment in the winter semester... of course it costs money...

Exercise for me... I would love to join a gym. Again... costs money.

How I organize my coupons...

I know some other couponers would never imagine organizing their "stash" this way, but I have to have an easy managable way to do this - or I won't. We label the date on the front page of the packet of Coupons and then into the box it goes :)

The extra coupons that I get from various sources go into this bag...

I store the like coupon inserts together in the box.

Then when it is time to cut out a coupon, I seach for the coupon insert. For example if I was looking for this Scopecoupon out of the 11/1 PG insert, then I would pull all of the copies of this coupon together. And, then I would cut out only this coupon out and then put the rest of the pages back into the insert. Then, I am done. That's it :) Pretty easy - and it saves money (and time) for me!
