Just wanted to share with you a new (to me) site that I have recently found... it's called ebates. How it works, is when you link to favorite stores through their site, they pay you a cash back percentage of what you spend at that store.

Example: I like GAP :) They are offering a 10% cash back at Gap...
I go to ebates, and click on GAP - which takes me to the GAP website.
I buy a sweater for $20 and then after the item is shipped, ebates puts $2 in my account. Quarterly, they either send you a check or deposit money into your paypal account.

When you sign up, they automatically put $5 into your account. Then, if you use the refer a friend - if you want let them know that I referred you, they put an additional $5 after your first purchase through them and $5 into my account as well... Day #5

So, it stinks when you are trying to save money for a big goal and exciting things pop up... that of course cost money - what's the deal with that anyways?

Bengals... in the playoffs. I could go with my friend & we would have an awesome time. I went with her to the last playoff game a few years ago and it was so much better than a regular game! But, of course it costs money...

Gymnastics for Kaleigha... we have had her in classes taking Gymnastics and we both really enjoy the class. Well, it's time for enrollment in the winter semester... of course it costs money...

Exercise for me... I would love to join a gym. Again... costs money.

How I organize my coupons...

I know some other couponers would never imagine organizing their "stash" this way, but I have to have an easy managable way to do this - or I won't. We label the date on the front page of the packet of Coupons and then into the box it goes :)

The extra coupons that I get from various sources go into this bag...

I store the like coupon inserts together in the box.

Then when it is time to cut out a coupon, I seach for the coupon insert. For example if I was looking for this Scopecoupon out of the 11/1 PG insert, then I would pull all of the copies of this coupon together. And, then I would cut out only this coupon out and then put the rest of the pages back into the insert. Then, I am done. That's it :) Pretty easy - and it saves money (and time) for me!

Yesterday, I went to the grocery store and bought my 3 newspapers (which at Kroger for the next 9 weeks, the paper is 1.25 instead of 1.75) and I was so happy, because I only spent $14.70 for my weekly groceries. I am going to go tomorrow to get the deals from this week, since they weren't available last night.

So, I am doing this eat from the pantry challenge and using the things that I already have, we are going to eat Lasagna, Chicken Potpie & Chili this week. Last night, we ate this Chicken Fajita braided bread (recipe from Pillsburty - I used crescent rolls).

So, my budget for the rest of the month is: $85.30

Also, today I paid an extra payment of my school loan
